Hello Everyone! So Excited! :)
Hey everyone!
I'm going to buy an S2000 soon and just thought I would jump into the forums now.
When I go have a look at the car, what advice do you have before I buy it?
Thanks so much!

My advice is start a running list of excuses to your significant other as to why you need to keep the car. you’re gonna need em one day!

Make a priority list. Top of the list is mandatory, bottom is optional. This will often create a very short list. Mine was headed by 2006 or later (DBW), less than 50K miles, all 10 VIN tags,..... color wasn't on my priority list but heads other guys'. It's your list. You don't need a 100-point car if you're gonna roll the fenders, lower it, and put on flashy "rims."
A new roof is expensive so don't get one that's torn as it's an all day job to replace it. Tires, on the other hand are easy.

Here is the list I had -
2002 or 2003 model years
Zero mods ever during life of car
Less than 30K miles
Well maintained
Mature prior owners who are completely forthcoming
No prior accidents (except perhaps a very minor bumper bump)
All VINs present (except front and rear bumpers if there is a good solid understanding re why)
