Default Hello from Korea

Hi, I don't know any s2k owners in Korea but if you're here say what's up. I saw a clean silver s2k parked top down in Shinchon last summer. (^__^)v

I'm thinking about purchasing an s2k back in the states. As a former Honda owner this has been my dream car for awhile. I've been checking out ap1's for around $12k or less, definitely shopping on a bit of a budget. At this price they tend to have 75k+ miles. Any specific problems I should be looking for with this kind of mileage?

Not much problems on the S as long as it was properly maintained. The 00/01s I believe have the clutch buzz (there's a tsb on that) and the 2004 has some tranny issues.

Hey Rick. I'm in the military and this is my duty assignment. I've been in Korea 14 months, feels a lot longer. Nice to meet you.

So you're basically thinking of buying an S2000 here in the US, and ship it to Korea?
I heard you have to pay quite a lot of tax if you do that.

Rick, I work at Camp Humphreys. I'm guessing you're a defense contractor?

I'm thinking of buying an s2k but I would not be shipping it over. I don't have the rank to drive here, nor would I want to. Ajjoshi are scary drivers!
