Default Hello From Los Angeles, CA

Hey S2KI!

My name is Alexar but friends call me Ace.. I'm 19 born and raised in Los Angeles, CA! In November 2010, I was in my 1995 BMW 525i on the way home from work and got rear ended pretty hard probably at around 20 mph.. Good thing the cars body is pretty solid so my whole trunk didn't cave in. After insurance lagged like crazy on helping my case, my car got a salvaged title. It's my first car so I was pretty upset but looking on the brighter side I thought with this settlement check I could put that money towards an AP2 S2000!! So that's exactly what I'm trying to do now.. So far I've saved up 14.5K.. Looking for a BB AP2 on V2's.. how much more would I need for a decent AP2? Anything above 2004 is perfect for me! Thanks everybody. I'm excited to be an s2000 owner and I'm very happy to be here with you all. See you around!

you can get a very good ap1 for 10k (mint/stock)

people love ap2's but i love the rawness of the ap1!!!!
but you need to understand it doesnt have some computers like the ap2's

learn to drive a rwd car.... i didnt and crashed ):
so different from a ap2/fwd or awd car!

snap over steer does happen for sure in my experience
but it can be controlled

i say get a ap1 and dump some mods in it!
maybe even boost it hehe

but for a good ap2 you can be looking at around 15k
but i say dont pay more than 15k for a s2000 unless its a cr and has low miles.

so different from a ap2/fwd or awd car!" sorry!

welcome! you can defiantly do it do it. I just picked up MY04 for a tad under 14 with 59k miles on it and it is in immaculate unmolested condition! With patience and persistence you will find a good deal. GOOD LUCK!
