New to this forum but not to cars. Don't own an S2000.....yet. Looking to buy after the salt is washed away from the roads here in Rochester NY. Been involved in cars all my life. Started with muscle cars in the 70's, took a hiatis in the 80's and early 90's then got back into the car scene with several imports, the last pictured here in street trim.

Not really looking to sell the car unless someone offers me $18k. I've spent more than twice that as it sits with all the best tasteful and functional bits you can throw at it. Been an HPDE instructor for many years and use this car to play with.

Anyway, I'll be in the market for an S2000 in a few months and will pay cash for the right example. I'm getting a bit older now and my priorities have changed a bit. Unfortuntely for my wallet I'll probably always have the modification bug and know the S2000 has more aftermarket support than my track toy. So maybe the vendors will have their way with me as well but the plan is to keep it as stock as my sickness allows. So...I have a lot of reading to do. Silver is my first choice of color, then yellow, black or white. Nothing red or blue. I prefer under 20k miles but will consider up to 30k miles for the right car.

Thanks for the welcome. It's an SR with 393 whp, 285? ft lbs at 18psi. Too many mods to list. Originally built long before the drift craze. Always under development. To much a track car now. Want a rag top to enjoy summer nights.

 

Good stuff. I've been tempting the 240sx idea lately, I just can't pull the trigger on one since I know how much of a money pit it would become. Those cars can be had for 500 to 1500$ (s13 or 14 that is) depending on what year/condition and you can easily drop 10 - 20k into one without blinking an eye

cool another zenki owner in ny! i've sold mine for more than half a year now yet i still don't have a s2000.

also even if you try to sell ur car i doubt you'll get ANYWHERE near 18k for that. i'd say realistically you can get maybe 10-12k so better off keeping it.

anyway good luck on your hunt for the s2k!
