Default HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP!

I really need a S2000 mechanial expert to help me get my car repaired and covered under my extended warranty. PLEASE CALL ME AT 206-510-3938!!!

I own a 2003 S2000. I bought it used about a year ago at Magic Toyota in Edmonds, Washington. It had about 33,000 miles on it, now has 46,500. Right now it's at One-Stop Auto in Lynnwood/South Everett, WA. When I bought the car, I also for $1,000 purchased an extended warranty from National Warranty. About two weeks ago, I took my car in at the six month point, to have my fluid levels checked. One Stop told me everything was fine. A few days later I noticed my oil light coming on when I would hit the brake. I called the warranty company, and told then I was taking the car in. Over a week later, I still do not have my car back. Apparently (and I'm not a mechanic), there's some hole (which Lynnwood Honda says is not supposed to be there) which has allowed oil to leak, and/or it's not bringing oil up into the top part of the engine, and I now have a damaged cylinder head. One Stop is being told they have to "prove" that's the cause of the damage before they will cover it. I'm mad as hell about this whole situation:

1: My S2000 has been in the shop for over a week, still not repaired
2. I bought the extended warranty in good faith, after being told it would cover my mechanical parts and I would only have to pay a deductible of $100
3. I've been driving my Honda very easy, taken it in at the six month points for maintenance and old changes like I've sujpposed to
4. Now I'm told it can't be proven that this hole is the cause of the problem, my car stis unrepaired, Lynnwood Honda doesn't seem to know much about S2000 engines, One Stop is trying to help me but seems powerless to do so.

SO, is there anyone out there who knows S2000 engines inside at out who can help me get my car fixed and covered by the warranty? Please call me at 206-510-3938 (if I don't answer, leave a message, I will call you back). I'm sure I'm not explaining the problem will enough, so please also call Rachel at One-Stop (main # is 425-741-1616) or her cell at 206-372-9704 to have her explain to you the problem. You can also call Chris in Parts at Lynnwood Honda at 425-775-7575. I really need someone to help me out with this--I don't know what to do. I would be most appreciative if someone would call me and the above numbers and help me out here. Thank you very much!

Rick Hornung

P.S. Supposedly, Chris at Lynnwood Honda is trying to get hold of the past President of the NW Chapter S2000 Club -- Mr. Past President, if you're out there, and you can help me, please give me a call. Thank you so very much!!!!

When was the last time you checked your oil level before the problem happened?

Cross posting FTL.

OP is being repressed. S2ki is a self-perpetuating autocracy.

Yikes, what a pain. My first move would be to get on the phone with the warranty company and ask them exactly what needs to be done to "prove" that this hole caused your problem. It could involve taking it to another mechanic, one who is more knowledgeable about the S2k and can confidently give them the information they want.

Not too sure what else to say I've never dealt with an aftermarket warranty company before. Also, it's probably a good idea to post this in the local forum for your area if you haven't already -- I don't know how much anyone will be able to do without actually looking at your car.

Best of luck with it

You didn't check the oil level until the light came on?
