Default Help me decide, should i settle for less?

Basicly, here is my delima. I have wanted to get into an S for about 2 years now, I am finally able to afford one comfortably (as in not go broke owning it/make payments)

A friend of mine has a MY01 white w/ red interior s2000 about 60k on it, clean title needs 2 airbags he bought it from auction but the lady at DMV screwed up and he ended up with a clean WA title. He wants $13,000 I know he drives the car hard sometimes (races every now and then and donuts sometimes)

A local honda dealership has a MY01 yellow w/ black interior s2000 with 50k on it, of course clean title everything is pretty much flawless and brand new since from dealership.. they want $20,000 out the door.

I can't decide. My ideal colour for S2k would be yellow but for that I will need to wait about another two months (pay off completly no financing) and with that one I know everything is going to be flawless on it, white is also attractive especially with the red interior however I never pictured my self in a white s2k.. Yellow/Silverstone/Black

Your advice/opinions are greatly appreciated, my main concern is if I skimp and just buy my buddys I will run into problems and most of all not be happy with it wishing I got the colour I wanted. This is my first "NEW" car I've owned a few ITR's and other misc. integras

never settle for a big purchase; get exactly what you want.
when the new car feeling wears off you wanna know you
paid the cost for exactly what you wanted and nothing less

What is the exact price difference? Do both prices include TTL so they're comparable? If the price difference really is $7k, that's crazy.

If you're set on buying a yellow car and that's what's going to make you happy, then wait and find a yellow car...seriously. You don't want to drive down the street, see a yellow one, and wish that you bought that one instead of what you actually bought.

For major purchases like a car, I'm a true believer in buying what you want, not what is pretty good since it's cheaper.

Keep looking for private party 01's in the 18k range.

Get exactly what you want. Cheaper than disappointment.
