I finally have my car back from a long hiatus up in the Poconos, PA. I just moved to Long Island New York and I have room for it at my new house. I had introduced myself to this forum about a year ago and now that I am driving the S alot more now, I want to get back into reading the forums and talking to you guys. Anyway, other than introducing myself again, I wanted to ask if anyone knew of a good mechanic or shop to take my car to do a checkup, lube and oil, and just general overhaul because it has been sitting for a while dormant. I will take it anywhere on Long Island, Queens area. I just don't want to bring it to another shop that asks me "oh cool, what kind of car is that?" Thanks in advance and I hope to meet some of you locals soon at future events or runs, etc.
