Hi all Newbie
Hi all, kindly sent a link over to here from Scoobynet. Have had many a subaru over the years and various other jap cars and some german as well.
But now on the lookout for some 2 seater fun, and after considering cars like Z4 3.0, boxterS, elise. I have narrowed my search to wanting a S2000.
I will be on the lookout in the near future for a 2002-2003 and can't wait to get behind the wheel on one... Look forward to surfing this forum for some no doubt informative information.
I assume there is a buyers guide in here someone so off to look at that first.!
Cheers
Rob

Welcome Rob!
There's probably a buyer's guide somewhere (hmmm...maybe we need a sticky in here with it). But feel free to ask questions too.
About the most important thing when buying is to get a compression check...these cars are easily over-revved...a compression test can sometimes show a bent valve that will be a problem for you.
Post up in a regional s2ki forum near the car you're interested in buying and ask for a shop recommendation if you are uncomfortable checking the compression yourself.
