Default Hi. Shopping for a S2000.. looking for advice

Hi everyone. New to the Japanese import scene. Recently I've really liked the s2000 and have been lurking this place like crazy. I did searches as any good newb should, but pretty much came up with threads from '01, unrelated to newer models out of the first year run.

I am planning on purchasing a new '06, and was wondering what everyone thought of their cars in terms of reliability and problem areas. I am currently a b6 s4 owner, and am looking to jump ship. Any info/ advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Buy it, there aren't any outstanding problems, save for the bumper fitment issue. But that's with all years.

I'm not aware of any problems with it...

Take one for a test drive.

One guy in the introductions forum had engine computer trouble (as in dead in the water) with his, but that's the only bitching I've heard. His stuff was fixed under warrantee.

Whoa, no real issues at all!? Now that is a nice change of events from my Audi. Thanks for all the replies everyone.

The main reason I am going new is the 06 warranty seems awesome.. 5yr/ 60k.
