Hi from Tampa/St. Pete
Created a local intro thread in the Tampa forum but figured I should say "Hi" to everyone else too!
Soooo...Hi! I just picked up my S2000 on 12/14/12 and am really excited about learning the car and enjoying it! It will be my daily driver (I was driving a Wrangler everyday...but it just wasn't fun and the 13mpg was really getting old) with the occasional autoX and spirited road driving.
I haven't "owned" my own import since high school (started out my driving life with a '91 Integra and then an '01 Civic). I say I haven't "owned" an import because my wife has had a few for her daily drivers over the years (IS300, IS350, and now a G37) and I would only drive them on weekends. For me, I've primarily been into Mustangs for my toys but have always been a fan of any "fun" car - regardless of make/model.
My main toy and pride and joy is my Azure Blue Mustang Mach 1. It's got a bit into it to make it competitive in autoX and fun in the twisties as well as a fun street toy.

Anyways - this is about the S - so back to it! It's a 2008 Chicane Silver Metallic. One owner car with 28,000 miles. I don't plan on modding it too much as this is going to be my daily driver but I do plan on auto crossing it a little to learn its limits. Plus the Mach could use a break

I'm already registered for the Dragon trip in April, so I hope to meet up with some of you guys then!
So far - I'm really loving the S! It's a totally different experience over my Mach 1 and I'm really enjoying it so far!
