Default Hi from UK (North East)

I've waited quite a long time for this (a good 5 years after graduation). I had an MX-5 in the mean time. Now a week or two from collecting my S2K from Essex way in the UK and a good 280 mile drive back haha. From the North East (Sunderland) so quite a journey. Not expecting anyone North East based as everyone seems US on here but would be a bonus to know some peeps who are . I can't not post a picture .

Welcome to S2KI! Gosh, that is beautiful. We do have a dedicated UK section here by the way: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...-community-25/

Photo was required (or it never happened) so it appears you "done good." We need details!

(Read the notes on the elastic straps between the roof bars as it appears your roof is not all the way down in the photo.)

Thanks! I couldn't find the notes on the straps, do you have a link. This is when it was at the dealer before sale. In this case, I'm probably doing it wrong too haha.

Other than the latches there's nothing more to lowering the roof. The elastic enables the roof to fold neatly and automatically.

Paste this into Google (withOUT the quotes):

"elastic site:www.s2ki.com"

Lots of references will appear.

(Google searches this forum better than the forum search function most of time for me.)
