holy god its been a while
Hi everyone!
Not really back from the dead, the S is alive and kicking like its always been.
3rd year of ownership and a little over a year until its paid off XD!
Trying to introduce myself back into the community, great source of info.
Last time i looked at the threads was maybe a month ago. Looking for QA on clutch pedal play and fixes. What started out as a little play went to almost all play and catching at the floor. With about 30 min driving it returned to normal... Then as the weather got a little warmer, turned into all play and catching at the floor to first and reverse being a pain to get into. Took a look at my clutch fluid and noticed its lvl to be quite .... dry... then looked by the master cylinder at the pedal inside to notice a broken seal and some fluid splash . Long story short i just had the master cylinder replaced and bled. Good as new.
Was the only issue i've had owning this car for 3 years and being a DD year round.
Also now have the soft top winter blues. Dammit i want to get a hard top and be done with the soft tops.
Like to end the little intro ramble thread by saying "Its still a stunning design after 10 years".
