Default Hond Headrest Speakers

Guys and Gals,

First timer here!

I know this question is probably really old school now! but i am looking to invest in Honda headrest speakers! Reviews are mixed out there so i am unsure!
Can anyone suggest where the best place to purchase these from (other than dealerships) or any alternatives!

Thanks all for your help and i look forward to many more chats on the forum about the that fabulous car that is the S2000!!!
Cheers

for the price that you would pay for the headrest speaker kit and putting it in yourself, (over 400 dollars here in the us) you can get a set of s-pods from marks2002

http://www.streetsmarttechnologies.net/index.html

or replace the panels behind your seat with the ones from lucid automotive

http://www.lucidauto.com/

both are better options than the oem headrest speakers, the s-pods will run you a bit more, being that they dont come with speakers, but in my research ive found that they seem to be a bit more preferred over the lucid panels if cost is not a barrier

They suck and they are very expensive. Then you have to pay to have them installed unless you can do it yourself. Did I mention that they suck? There are better choices.

No, don't bother. Any decent HU/speaker set up works fine in the car, but stock is terrible. Put a better radio and door speakers in, and you don't need headrest speakers.

And he is talking about the roll hoop speakers on the 06. They are an improvement over the headreast speakers you are talking about and, from what I have heard they still suck. Note that I have only heard the headrest speakers and not the new roll hoop speakers in the 06.

With that in mind, can you reccomend any decent speakers that i can fit into my S2000? Units and bootloader advice would be welcome also!!
