Hey Guys and Girls if you're there too. I just got into a 2002 S2K, Silver on ALL RED last friday. I have to say this car KICKS SOOOOOO MUCH ASS!!!!. Used to have a GTI VR6 24V and I thought that was fun lol. Anyway I was searching the forums and came across a post about someone's dash squeaking when they drive. It said it was the hood make that noise which is totally right. Can who ever posted that help me out? What did you do to make it go away???? It usually does it after a while of driving when the car is warm not right away.

I've got the same issue with mine . Maybe take it to the dealer and have the hood latch adjusted/greased ? Had the same problem with my '00 Civic , and it was fixed due to a TSB .

 

Hei Pluto, the hood still squeeks on my MY05, they fixed it with some tape between the hood and the back window, but that is not a permanent solution to me. But at the moment, it is all Didn't know they made the VR6 with a 24v engine

 

Hey guys, thanks for your input I'll see what I can come up with on the hood. Yes there was a VR6 24V after 2002. It's 200hp/195lb.ft.

 

I knew there is some squeaking noise coming from the front. I never knew it's from the hood! Learn something new everyday
