Hi folks! My first time posting here, though I've been lurking since I've been on the market for a car. I've been obsessed with the s2k for a long while, and now I finally got a shot at owning one.

This is the one that I'm seriously looking at right now. The price and mileage seem to be a good deal, and with it being winter (and me being in Chicago), I'm sure I can knock the price down a bit. Anyways, I just wanted to get the input of all you knowledgable owners in here before I head out to the dealership tommorow. Here's a link to the ad:

looks like a good deal from the ad. i got my car with less miles for a little more but there were some parts in the paint that needed to be redone. otherwise i'm very happy and you should be when you get yours! too bad its cold there though otherwise you'd enjoy it even more

Looks like a decent deal, and it's safer buying from a dealer. I like the yellow!

 

Thanks for the welcome! I haven't posted in any forums, so it wasn't me you saw. As for driving it in the cold, well, cold air=better performance right?

 

It was gonna be between the s2k and the evo for me, but I couldn't pass up the chance to own my dream car. Any particular reason for getting rid of your evo (besides the fact that the s2k is soo totally fantabulousome! )?

 

'03 with 21k miles? Get it!!! Knock another 3 grand off the price. Used cars usually carry about that much in profits for the dealership.

not my favorite color but a deal is a deal, make sure the car is in good shape and don't leave paying that much, you made it!

 

Looks like a real good deal. I just got an 03 with about 32k on the clock for a few hundred less and it was already about $5000 under KBB and about $2000 under Edmunds retail pricing (if those mean anything to you). If you like the color and the Carfax is clean, go for it and enjoy.
