howdy
New to the forum, I recently bought a '03 S2000 from a co-worker, he bought a new BRZ and had used the S2000 as his commuter car for 10 years while taking it up to 166K miles with only 2 repairs, one for the MAF sensor connector to be tie wrapped and one for the clutch master and slave to be replaced, the car has the original clutch and original brakes, the front rotors are still 25.1 MM thick. I guess you can say he is a conservative driver. I just ordered new rear hubs and wheel bearings since they're pretty much shot, and it needs new rear tires, but otherwise, it's fine and lots of fun to drive.
I'm pretty confirmed as a gearhead, and own too many cars including a '94 RX 7 with a Corvette LS-1 engine and T-56 six speed transmission.

Howdy and welcome!
When you put those new hubs and bearings on, be sure to torque the axle nuts sufficiently (see Retorquing the Rear Axle Nuts, How-to and Why).

Thanks for the replies, link and technical support, I'll make sure to tighten those nuts, don't want new bearings to go bad, but 166,500 miles on the OEM bearings was pretty good, but they probably should have been replaced a while ago by the PO (they are pretty noisy and lumpy), the local dealer and independent Honda shop both wanted close to $1000 to replace both bearings and hubs, but hey that's what DIY is for, Rock Auto had the parts cheap and my neighbor repairs motorcycles and has a press in his shop.
