Hey all whats up, Greaser here new to the s2000 community but not the car my friend owned one and I drove it a few times, and I finally have the funds saved to purchase one of my very own been waiting for this for a few years. Know I am just looking for the right one that seems to speak to me. I have already been on the site as a guest and read the "what to look for when buying an s2000" and thought it is time to join in and say hey. So hey. Not to sure what color I am looking for I guess I will know when I find the right one.

Good luck finding the right one. When I bought my first in 2007 I made an on-line poll between Sebring Silver or New Formula Red and now as I'm looking for my second one I'm stuck with the same decision. Have fun and be safe.

welcome! don't settle on one get the one you want! I drove a rental 3 months it took me to find mine. I wanted Grand Prix White in stock condition, and under 80k, finally found it. Just make sure you get the best color!

These guys are right. Take your time on choosing the right car. Took me a few months to find mine too.

I have been looking at the new formula red and the sebring silver, red maybe a little more but either would make me happy. I have been keeping my eyes open for a few months, I not sure where I stand on the whole ap1 vs ap2 yet I like both for different reasons. Anyways thanks for the input and the welcome.

I wanted a ap2 originally, but the deal I ran across was a ap1. To me the ap2 does look a little better, but considering there is no significant difference in power I'm happy with my ap1.

Welcome to the site, a Sebring Silver AP1 would be the fastest...if that matters

I first saw the s2000 in a superstreet or sportcompact car magazine article back in '99-'00 and it was a silver one that was turbo charged, dont have the mag anymore but I knew then that this was a car I just had to have. Being fast is nice, but thats not the reason I am looking for one, that particular s2k had a huge impact on me as a young car lover. It completely changed the way I looked at a car, I have always had a fascination with cars but once I saw that s2k the real car guy in me started to form reading books getting my hands on other peoples motors ( that were blown and just tearing them apart) and working on family members cars. Anyways know I finally have the funds and am beginning my search
