Default I bought that beotch!

Hey guys, just got done driving from Indianapolis to DC. Boy, that drive really sucks!
Anyway, I am the proud new owner of an SC'd 2001 with some other bits. The car was clean and the process was smooth. I am pleased. Hope she's more reliable than my old FD! hehe

your new S would be more reliable even if you took one of the wheels off...

haha...yeah
I took it through inspection today and it failed for a couple reasons...the rear spoiler, canards, broken sway bar link that I missed when I looked at the car, and apparently the front bumper supports are missing because of the aftermarket bumper.

Hmm...-$75. Think I'm gonna have to bribe...the good ol' fashioned way!

Congrats, Courage. That's quite a unique car. Hope it works out for you.

Change all the fluids, and keep a close eye on your oil level.

Thanks guys! I'm a former FD owner and I can literally think of only 6 platforms under $100,000 I would want for track cars and this falls in that catagory.

Turbo/SC S2000 (all the goodies)
FD RX-7 Single turbo (all the goodies)
993 911 Carrera 2S with all the goodies)
BMW M Coupe (SC'd with all the goodies)
Noble M12 GTO 3R
New ZO6

Anyway, I found this car and it was clean so I jumped on it. For the longest time I was looking for M Coupes but I just couldn't find one in the color I wanted...
I have no regrets. The car runs great, looks great, handles great, yadda yadda. It does, however, have a broken swaybar link that I have to fix. That's a bit annoying.

I would add the 02-04 Z06 to that list. Just an engine swap away (or boost) away from similar performance. Plus there isn't any factory torque managment to mess with with the old Z06...but thats a topic for another thread.
