i cracked.
ok so i was with catawalks who has the silver s2k and at the time when i went to the meets with him i was the mismatch with the Scion tC. well not anymore!
isn't she gorgeous?:

she's from Texas so she's in beautiful shape!
i've had del sols in the past and after getting my tC i really wanted my del sols back... well i was close to getting one in mint condition but it was gone by the time i finally decided to go for it. well, after that i figured why go for a car that's 13+yrs old and underpowered? why not just go for it's "upgrade"?
i've been looking to get an S since prolly the end of October and i did find one but the guy wouldn't work with me because my trade in would put me in a deeper hole. i waited until Black Friday to see the one sitting in a lot next to my house. my mom finally caved into taking my tC and i applied for this one.
after taxes and such, she came out to $15,700.
first time shopping black friday in 22yrs and i walk off the parking lot with a "brand new" car.
She's a 2003 AP1... and gorgeous (yes again gorgeous.)
I named her Daleia (pronounced: dale-ya).. a tribute to my favorite del sol Dale, the Drag Queen Homo... but lately i've been calling her Sexy bc well... she is.
everyone at work is either really happy for me that i got it while others are kinda really jealous... they keep calling me stupid for getting it just as winter approaches, but that's the exact reason WHY i got the car now.
who's looking for a sport car in the winter?
by spring time the prices will be jacked up most likely and i wouldn't find the one i want!
besides i didn't even drive in the snow with my tC and if it's a must to get to work in a storm or whatever, i can always just take the tC to work... stupid humans.
there's only two problems with her and that's the back tail is fogging up and my power plug (cig lighter) pulls out and disconnects but that's all good. the guys at the dealership are gonna reseal the tail light and they ordered me a new outlet thingy.
my one coworker who's proud of me asked how fast i got her up to and i told him 75.. but last night i kinda pushed her (my gas tank is failing me. i'm at 100 miles and at half a tank almost...) well 135mph sits at 7grand in 6th gear... it was a thrill but also really scary. the car gets really mean. everything got tight (car and the air) and it was almost like she was telling me, "one wrong move and i take control".
not planning on taking it that fast again until maybe i learn how to drive her better (and if i wanna get away from a dbag on the highway). i've been driving FWD for 4yrs, so RWD is a lil different.. i've noticed in turns too. the push is very different from the pull.
i've been on two drives with catawalks and i think it was s2ki, but he drove most of the time. i took my own ride after work Monday. it was after midnight and no cops sit on this windy road that's 55mph.. well even in my tC i take that road at 70. my tC seems more jerky on the turns and top heavy whereas the S glides through every turn and makes my favorite road even more fun!
i can't wait for the spring bc YES CATAWALKS i'm putting the roof down. i may be bundled up bc i dont like the wind but i'm going to utilize what the car has given me lol
so yeah.. i've had her for 3 full days now and i'm in love. <3

my two sexies:
(btw... at the first black s2k i saw in Kingston, NY.. i stood next to and took a picture of an Acura NSX. it was glorious. The guy's selling it for $30k.)
the NSX
