Default I FINALLY BOUGHT THE CAR I ALWAYS WANTED.. :)

Hello!

I recently purchased a 2006 S2K. I thought I had a great deal until I found out I bought this car...

Now I have a car that has mostly been converted back to stock except it has a bad bad compression in the first cylinder due to a bad piston ring, Kraft Werkz programmed ECU, and R/C 650cc injectors. :T

It drives, but sighh..

Next time I buy a car, I WILL DO A COMPRESSION TEST FIRST.

I hope to get the car back to stock soon.

Sorry to hear that man, I've been in the market for a car too and finding a good example of one was way harder than I thought it would be.

Just think, by working out these issues, you've got a big leg up on most new owners. You're already elbow deep in the car, learn while you're there. Then when everything is running well, you can appreciate the car that much more!

Yes... Thank you for letting me see it that way. I'm just hoping there's no other surpises along the way... The car made me broke as is. I dunno how much broker I can get.

Don't worry man. When I bought my s2k it had a scored #4 cylinder, and I replaced the entire shortblock. It sucked since it cost so much just to have a normal s2000, but it was a great learning experience. The car seems like its more part of me now since I have done so much, and gone through crazy stuff with it. It will all work out for you.

Did you buy it directly from the previous owner or at a dealership?

It's kinda funny because he sold it to the dealership, the dealership sold it to a rich guy. THe rich guy finished school and only had it for a couple months and I bought it from him... The funny part is that the dealership certified the car...
