I finally got it!
44 days. That's how long I waited from the time I put down my deposit until the car was delivered and ready to be picked up.
I picked the car up this past Monday with 9 miles on the clock. I put ~70 miles on it that day (~60 of it was to drive home
). Unfortunately, I haven't driven it since that Monday. 
Just some random thoughts:
- It's been a VERY long time since I've had such a big smile on my face that came outta nowhere from the core of my being as the first time I laid eyes on the car while it sat on the lot, waiting for me to take it home.
- I haven't driven with the top up yet. I hope I can get used to those rear blind spots when I try it.
- I REALLY need to get a pair of shades.
- I can't wait for the break-in period to be over.
- I'm really glad GPW made a switch with LBP to top my list of colors at the 11th hour. GPW FTW!!!
Anyway, I've been lurking for MANY years (long enough to remember some OG members, some who are no longer here) and I've gotten used to lurking so I probably won't end up posting much, haha. This is just another hi from a 2008 GPW owner.
