Default I got it! I got it! My new S2k

I've had this grin on my face all day long.

Picked up MY02 S2k this morning from the dealership. I've only managed to put about 250 miles on it today. Drove home through some snow flurries so I had to rush out and rinse it off and grab these pics. Sorry for the poor quality. The editing dirtied them up.

First up is some new badging, and then an audio upgrade. It's obvious Honda spent all the money on the motor. The stereo is crap. I haven't decided if I'll lower it. This thing is really sweet right out of the box. The exhaust is so efficient it's almost pointless to mess with it.

Just had it out on some country roads a few minutes ago and ran some shifts at 8 grand. This little 4-banger kicks ass. I don't know that I'll ever hit the 9000 rpm redline. Weighs about 1000 pounds less than my previous car, a '97 Mitsu 3000GT SL. My wife's 3000GT is in storage. It'll be fun to run this thing side-by-side with her.

Dunlop tires on stock rims.

An FMIC would look sweet in there. Can you say "turbo kit"?

Came with OEM front lip, side strikes and rear spoiler.

Interior is like new. Only 16000 miles.

It's got a nice ass too.

Honda's afterthought of a head unit. The door speakers will have to go and I'll add small, powered sub. The whole system will be upgraded in the spring.

All digital dash. I love the focus on the tach where it should be.

I love the start button!

Previous owner installed an RM Racing CAI. Adds something to the exhaust tone. Don't think there's much if any hp gain.

No clue. The car came from a dealer and I had no contact with the previous owner.

So the silver on black is not stock? I thought it was just an OEM variation, but had noticed that other cars just had chrome emblems.
