I really wanna get an S2000
What's up guys. I've been a long time lurker on this forum, and I finally decided to post a topic.
I currently own an R32(no, it's not a Skyline. it's a VW
) and I've been a fan of s2000 since 2001.
I should've bought the s2000 in 2004 when I had a chance, but I needed a daily driver with a hatch that could hold some stuff in the trunk.
Now, I wanna buy the S sooooo bad, I literally see myself buying one in my dreams.
I did some research on the price, and I'm aware that I could get a decent price on a new S, but the problem is, my job's not paying well enough to get me into one of those sweet S.
I still own about $14k on my R, and moreover, I have a terrible credit.
After reading the article that the '06 is gonna be the last production year for an S, I couldn't wait longer to buy one. Seriously, I would KILL to get an S and I'm confident that I could pay loan payment.
Now, who could get me approved for a loan??
Anyone?
I just wanted to rant a little, that's all.
I'm still saving some $$ for the end of this year. After I get my tax return, I might be able to get approved for a loan.
The point of this topic was to let you guys know how lucky you guys are to own such a sweet car.
Thanks.
Dan

If you're not making enough and have bad credit, I'd suggest saving some more $$ before getting yourself into a bad situation. Nice examples of S2000 will always be there for you when you're ready. Good luck.

Was the article you happened to read posted on March 31?

So, there's gonna be an '07?
Thanks
Dan
Yeah, there will be a MY07, no worries
But I am very happy to take over your R32 as a daily driver because I make soooooooow much kilometers/miles in the S2000 because it is such a great fun to drive! R32 was second choise and I am certain I will someday have one of those (or the coming R36) too. I am even going to have a testdrive in the VW Eos R32 (new Golf vert) very shortly
But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, the S is not going anywhere
