Default I'm back!

It's been a while.

I sold my 05 silverstone about 2 years ago and have regretted it for about 1.98 years now.

Last week I purchased Ozy's CTSC'd yellow 2001.

Since nothing good comes my way without some adversity.. On the drive back to Austin from Phoenix, a deer ran into the side of it. Minor damage to the passenger fender, door and rear quarter panel. Also put a small hole in the top and tweaked it so it doesn't go forward enough to latch without some effort.
Insurance is on it so with any luck I'll be 100% in a couple weeks. Hopefully insurance will replace the top and I'll get a Robbins glass conversion. The top, like the rest of the car, was flawless and original, so I'm hoping they'll cover a replacement rather then just patching it.

UD.

Future plans for this s2k:
If insurance doesn't come through for the top, I'll be looking for a mugen knockoff hard top.
New head unit. The one in it is ancient. Rest of the audio is A++
SOS Kpro 400 or 600bhp fuel management package + 3.6" pulley. Target is 350whp.

The one in there now is an old JVC. Dunno what model. In my 05, I had a pioneer unit. Nothing fancy.
Pretty much any single DIN HU will fit, but you might want to limit your HU search to units that work with the modifry dash control adapter.
Also, keep in mind that there's a door that covers the HU, so best to avoid aux/usb inputs on the front of the unit and if you're going to drive an amp with it, get one that you can turn off the internal amp to keep it cool with the door closed. Dunno if that's still an uncommon thing these days.

Heh. I assumed he meant that I regretted selling for 2 years before I bought another one.
But now.. I dunno.
