Default Im new, Hello!

Hey everyone,

I am a previous owner of a 03 Sentra Ser SPecV, well I was having problems with the Throttle Pos. Sensor so it cost a lot to fix. So i got myself a 2003 S2000 this sunday that just passed!

I am glad to have finally joined been wanting this car for so long.

Anyway this may seem like a funny ?, but since i got mine used, my ap1 didnt come with a manual. Does any1 know how to change the time on the stock radio. Another part that sucks is that I dont have that security code thing for the radio. it has one right? damn... i might have to replace the radio if i need to take out the ground in the future.

anyway HELLO! and Happy new yeaR!

As for the radio code, you can try this. Hold down the #1 and #6 preset buttons at the same time for a few seconds. This sometimes makes the code pop up. If not, you can try the dealer but I think it has to be the original dealer that sold the car, not just any honda dealer. Do a search in the electronics forum, this question is very common there.

Congrats on the car. I'm thinking that you know about the "secret compartment". A lot of people have found their owners manual and radio code in there. If not in there, you will have to go to the dealer to get the code. To set the clock press and hold AM/FM button AKA the clock button until the time flashes. Then press and hold preset 4 button until you get the time you want for hours and press and hold preset 5 for the minutes.

Wait... What secret compartment?? Are you talking about behind the seat, underneath the seat or in the trunk where the wheel goes?

key on..radio off. Hold #1 and #6 and turn the radio on. it will show two 4 digit number making one 8 digit number let me know that number (serial number of the radio) and I'll tell you your radio code..(I work at a honda service dept. so i can look it up) Or just call a local honda dealer and they'll tell you your code.

write down that 5 digit code because you'll have to put it back in if your car ever loses battery power for any reason. such as dead battery or you unplug it to work on something.
