Default Info needed on US S2000

I am looking at buying and importing a S2000 from the US and want to make sure of a couple of things that are required by Canadian authorities.

Firstly, are Kilometers indicated on the spedometer. They are usually in smaller letters inside the milage indicators. (I am not worried about the odometer)

Secondly, is there an switch position on the headlight switch which will activate day time running lights?

Thanks, Gary

There is a button on the instrument panel that allows you to toggle between MPH and KPH. Not sure about the DRL switch. I do believe that 06+ AP2s have DRLs though; AP1s (00-03 models) do not.

Thanks for the quick replies.

Will have to check to see how hard it is to reprogram for DLR's if I go older than '06.

Another question, is the eninge normally asperated? Reviewing the forum and there is some talk about turbo's etc. I assume those are aftermarket??

Great Forum!

Thanks, Gary

Yes, S2000s were never made with a factory turbo.

I think you need to do some more research on the car before you buy especially if you weren't sure if s2000 comes from factory NA
