Fairly common question, here is a good starting point.

yeah, you should probally try a quick search in the future about a question before you post it, but its cool. As far as an intake i have a K&N fipk and it sounds pretty awesome. I personally like the sound of it best, but that is an opinion. Best thing to do would be maybe to go to a local s2000 meet and listen to peoples cars. Take it easy.

for the money the K&N fipk is the best intake hands down. it does sounds good since its placed under the hood and there is no worry of hydrolock. Best of all it is inexpensive and design looks good

You can listen to whomever you want, its all blah blah blah!

If you drive daily and dirve threw puddles a lot and are at all worried about hydrolock, dont go cai.

best sounding would be aem v2 and fujita, Althoguh I preffer fujuita due to the filter design and the way the filter sits when mounted.

The Aem will aim up slightly allowing it to collect water (which isnt good) while the fujita aims downward a tad to allow water to roll off it the filter.

Choose what you like best anbd ya, search, its a great thing, there is a official cai thread in under the hood and its on the first page, 8 pages of people bitchin

Welcome.. get ready for the price increase as s2k parts are alot more expensive than SRT4 stuff.

If all you want is sound and no power then just take the lid off the stock airbox. It will sound like a CAI, but will make you lose power or not gain anything at all like most intakes for the s2k.
