i'm new here, have posted a few, and learning a lot about the S2000.
I gotta tell you, this forum is huge ! the search option ain't worth a lot, but i'm starting to find my way.

Bought a CIVIC model 2007 in september 2006 and
saving up now for a S2000, will probably buy a new one: 07 in a month or two. The civic is for work and it is pretty slow.

first I would like a testdrive ofcourse for the S2000, and for that i might be asking for the help of some belgian S2000 owners here. Hope i can find someone

I recently bought a MY2000 Silverstone with black interior. It was almost an impulse buy except that I had been drooling over the 2K's since they came out. I was looking for a replacement for my 98 Acura CL when I saw the "silver bullet". My wife and I have been having fun with it ever since. Actually, she still prefers her CRV but I figure that's good for me.

I just had the stock audio system replaced and now it really feels complete. no more mushy rock n roll. I never thought I'd own a car with a sub woofer and amp.

Looking forward to comparing notes with you all on the joys of S2K ownership.

Hey guys i just got home from Carmax, picked up my 03 Berlina Black got it around 22k with only 17 thousand miles. The car is F'n amazing, I cant wait to meet some of you guys that live in NOVA! Proud to be an owner.

 

hey just moved to ft.lauderdale from seattle looking to buy an S2000 cuz of the weather and the potential.. just sold my sti and was looking for an evo down there but i guess there isint any down there no need for awd i guess?

 

Hey guys. I've been lurking for awhile, but i've finally joined the forums. I'm from Toronto, but i'm living in Georgia now. I was set on getting a TSX, but now i'm weeks (maybe even days) away from purchasing a s2000. Friends and family convinced me to drop my practicality for something that is more "fun". I guess this is the best time for a s2000 though, while i'm young and don't have a family of my own. It'll be my daily driver, so hopefully i'll be able to live with it. The only problem would be moving stuff, but it's alright as I don't see myself moving anytime soon. There's always U-Haul. Anyways, this is a great forum...very imformative!

Hi, I'm from SoCal.

I hated the s2000 ever since I laid eyes on it. None of my friends actually had the car, until i was a freshman in college, back in late 2003. Drove his '01 Silverstone and fell in love.

I promptly ignored every rational thought I had, and I went out and bought myself an '01 Silverstone s2k.

4 months later, my dream ended, and I was forced to get rid of it because of terrible monthly insurance fees.

4 years later, I have the opportunity to buy the car I've regretted losing. I have nightmares about the day I had to let her go. But anyhow, I have just bought a '00 Berlina Black, not my ideal color, because Silverstone is my first love. I was hoping for a GPW of a later year but money says no. I am now waiting to pick up my 52k mile '00 Berlina Black s2k. Nice meetin ya'll.

 

Hey all. First post and very new S2000 owner (registered today). I've been fully initiated, though. I sat bewildered for a few minutes at the gas station trying to figure out how to open the fuel door. Had to drive off in embarrassment and study the situation.

Bought a used 2006 Black/Black-Red with 850 miles. Smokin' deal mainly because the CEO of my company got bored with it and wanted room for his other toys.

I've been wanting one since before they were released when I read about Hondas approach to designing the car in an article in the WSJ at the time. I made a deal with my wife that when I got her a new house I would be able to buy one. 9 Mos ago we got the house and I finally took the plunge. Good times.
