Dictionary.com defines people as follows:
"persons, whether men, women, or children, considered as numerable individuals forming a group."

Is that a good enough answer to your "what's people" question?

Hi, I live in Washington DC and have owned my 2003 Silverstone/black interior S2000 since August of 2007.

I bought it as a Honda Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle with 28,000 miles. Got it for $20,600. It was in near perfect condition (at least that's how it looked at the Honda dealership).

Since it was Honda Certified I was able to add the Honda extended warranty ($1600) good for up to 100,000 miles.

Unfortunately, a couple of days later I noticed a slight variation in the colors of the front fender and the door. Bummer, it was damaged, or in a wreck. Then, I noticed the tail lights didn't match. One was the original 2003 tail light and the other was from an older model. Then I noticed that the seems of the bumper fascia and the rear quarter panel were perfectly flush.

Bummer. The back left quarter panel and tail light had been damaged/crashed.

Since I wanted to make sure the asthetics of the car were maintained I had a Honda dealer replace the tail light that was from an older model S2000 with a 2003 tail light. Bliss.

Regardless of the body issues this car feels as solid as a rock! Drives like a new car.

Since I bought it in Aug 2007 I've put 22,000 miles on it! I can't stop driving it. When I park it I get sad and think only about driving it agaion.

After 22,000 miles the only maintenance I've had to perform on it are oil changes and tire balancing.

Thank god I read the owners manual and checked the only each time I filled up the tank. I have to put in a quart of oil about every 4 tanks. And I only use SYNTHETIC OIL!

I also own a 1998 2 dr Civic EX. My plan was to drive the Civic to work and back (25 miles each way) and use the S2000 on weekends. But after driving the S2000 and then going back to the Civic it was like going from Champagne to MD 20/20. I hate my Civic now. I want to drive it into a canal and watch it sink.

That S2000 is like Superman's glove compared to the Civic. Now I drive the Civic whenever I need to give a ride to more than one person.

Recently while at a Honda dealership I checked out a 2008 S2000 CK(?). You know, the hard top one with the racing tires and souped up interior. What do you do with the hard top when you want to go topless? I have no garage and one wonders about these thing. Although if you have a garage that solves the issue, that is until it rains while you're on the road.

I'm not sure I care for the design of the interior for S2000 MY 2004 and up. It's lost the symetry and simplicity from its predecessor. I notice in my interior, compared to the 2008 one I saw at the dealership, that it's truly symetrical and streamlined. And in the 2007-8 models that silver material covering the stereo door and part of the console is so detracting, and distracting.

Well, thank god I chose a Honda S2000 over those nasty Miatas/MX5s and BMW Z4s.

Oh yeah, another thing. All that BS about recommending a car like the S2000 not be driven in snow or sleet is just that, BS.

I get snow, sleet, lots of rain, and have no trouble maneuvering my S2000 on the highway and local streets. As long as you know how to drive a RWD car with manual transmission and have all-weather tires you're fine.

By the way, I work for www.CARFAX.com and if you need a complimentary CARFAX report just let me know. Although, in the States, most dealers will list the reports on their online classified ads.
