Hello from Arizona! I hope to join the "club" soon. I have to sell my current car first before I can buy a S2000. I'd trade my car in, but a stealership probably won't give me what I want for it. (I have an '08 VW GTI if you know someone who is interested in buying it) After the Vdub is gone I'll be looking to buy a '02 - '06 with less than 60,000 miles and under $20K.

Hey everyone. I just purchased my AP1 about a month ago from a friend and have loved it. Unfortunately it seems like it has it's usual s2k problems (rear end noise, tranny noise, and two small tears in the soft top) but hopefully I can get all those fixed soon.

 

^^^That's the first time I've seen an S2000 w/ that color coating on it. It doesn't look bad, actually.

My buddy paints for a living and it was originally his car. It was originally black but he was never big on black cars (is what he tells me) and decided to do something a little different.

The color comes on some early 2000's chevy cavalier's and pontiac sunfires as well as a couple other gm models.

It's supposedly Moss green pearl with a gold overlay. I wish I had better pictures because the gold really pops in the sun. One of these days I'll have to steal one of my friend's camera's and get some better pictures.

48 hours with my new apex blue. except for first gear, the car feels so alive and is a blast!!

i test drove a convertible vette, a bmw 135i, 3 different used s2000's, and finally the CR after getting tossed a great (internet division) price and having a second look at her (the second time was with the top on and I was sold)

very dedicated car! i wanted nothing less (didn't really mind my day trip to monterey and the only complaints from the girl where towards the end when she was not ready to have "fun" in the car anymore)

I'm new to s2ki and wanted to say hi to everyone. I've had my '01 s2k for about five years. I recently installed a Vortech Supercharger, Intercooler, larger headers, 3" exhaust from headers back, 750 cc injectors and an AEM EMS, and was wanting to get some expertise from others. I had a guy in town tune my car on his dyno but I'm not so sure he did a very good job.

I'm also in Wichita and feel alone because s2k's aren't very common around here. Anyone around Wichita, hit me up, I'm always in for a good cruise.

 

You're not alone. There are a few in Wichita. Most of them post in the Kansas City forum. Another forum you might find useful is the Forced Induction forum. Hope that helps! Welcome aboard!
