Introduce yourself here!
Hey everyone. I just signed up on the site and thought I would stop by and say hello. I recently purchased an '03 Sebring Silver s2k back in mid January. I haven't done much to it just yet, but I have quite a bit on my mind as to what to save up for. So far I have come across VIS and Seibon carbon fiber hoods for a heck of a steal. Here are some pics of it. Again, just got it so nothing too wild yet.
I tried to post a pic of the hood, but for some reason it won't post it up. Anyway, the carbon fiber hood I have on it at this point is similar to J's racing. Has a nice aggressive scoop with a split in the middle. Makes me nervous to have that kind of opening right by the intake, but I'll just have to watch it carefully when the weather looks like it's going to turn.

Hi, my name is Tony I just bought my 03' S2k about three weeks ago. Quick concern of mine is that it has a AEM V2 intake already installed and I heard that it can cause hydrolock...how worried about this should I be?
I avoid large puddles at all costs so I'm guessing I'm safe.

Welcome aboard, everyone! I have the same intake, Tony. Just avoid submerging it in water and you should be fine. As an extra precaution, I have a heat shield over my filter which acts as an umbrella. You might look into that and/or a bypass valve. Hope that helps!Remember: keep the rubber on the road and the shiny side up!
Love my S2000, however - don't love the site. I am a GOLD member & can't do anything without there being some error or restriction that I should contact the site administrator about -
eg -
Update Avatar - (compressed to 25K - poxy size by the way)! - Sorry an error occurred - contact the site administrator.
Change Personal profile - Sorry an error occurred - The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem!
Sorry, but it's PANTS!
Yours - fee paying member - that's another story - taken me 2 weeks to resolve login conflicts.
Yours, a disgruntled

Hi, I'm new.
I don't own an S2000. I predict I will own one within 3 years. Yes, that may be a long way away but I just finished my University degree and begin flight school soon.
I would love one now but some things are more important at this time in my life.
For now, s2ki is as close as it comes.
