I'm a new member. Bought my 2003 S2000 about 3 years ago. Had been thinking about a roadster when my beloved 1988 Mercedes 420SEL expired with over 300,000 miles on it.

Narrowed my choices to the S2000, Miata, BMW Z3 or z4 and a Porsche 911. Love the car!

Kiplinger's magazine did a review of about 4-5 roadsters shortly after I purchased my S2000 and they did not include the car among those reviewed. I wrote them suggesting they made a mistake by their non-inclusion.

Received an email back from editor, which was possibly published, saying (as I recall) something like it should have/could have been included.

In any event, I'm exceptionally happy with the car.

New S2000 owner here!!! I'm Jason and from Gainesville Tx. I just sold a tastefully modded 01 Prelude SH so I could buy an S2000. I ended up buying an 07 with 20,000 miles and it's Laguna Blue!! So far I love it. I mainly bought it for autocross and road courses. I just got into autocross a few months ago and had to get one of these. Anyways here are some pics.

At the dealership right before I take it home!!

And once I get it home!!

Took delivery of my 2009 S on Monday - oh my, what a drive home! I truly understand (and feel) the meaning of the word sublime! The driving experience was so good I almost broke down and cried at the end of it. But then again, I have been dreaming of owning one since Honda introduced it. I can summarize everything in one short sentence: I have died and gone to heaven! Interesting fact about this purchase; I was originally expecting to get a Synchro Silver S2000, and had a very pleasant surprise at the Dealership - it was in fact a Moonrock Metallic! Although I had convinced myself to live with Synchro Silver, I was absolutely overjoyed to see the colour and find out it was more like a charcoal grey! No offense to silver S owners, but I love the darker shade so much more. Gonna take some pics this evening, and post them as soon as I can.

Okay, scratch my last post - its not Moonrock Metallic, it *is* indeed Synchro Silver NH-745M, as per the passenger side door sill. As I mentioned before, it looks charcoal grey to me, much darker than Sebring or the other silvers. Love the colour, no matter what.

Hi everyone, Although I don't own an S2000, I am no stranger to the Honda Community. My parents always drove them (accord and odyssey) and after owning a 95 eg civic for a few years I have continued to love them. Well, what can I say? Boys will be boys and I was a little too fond of the far right pedal before the law caught up to me. I had to sell my eg just to pay for the ticket and the lawyer and get back on my feet. I haven't had a license for the past year

Words cannot describe the pain I have to endure each time my friend picks me up in his modified VW. Yeah, its no Enzo, but i hate it nonetheless! I want to drive MY own car!

Fast forward to now. I'm shopping for a new car bc when I get my license back I want to be able to make up for some lost time. RESPONSIBLY!!!

My choices are (in this order)

AP2 S2000
370z
06/07 Subaru STi
C6 Le Mans Blue Corvette

I love Honda's and I want to buy a car that I can grow old with. Whoever said guys have commitment problems?

P.S. Let me know what you guys think about my choices. thx

Not yet an owner in Norfolk, VA. I'm working on selling my 2007 BMW 530i. Once I get that sold, the S2000 will be in my immediate future. I'm already looking for a 2006 or 2007 with low miles. I'll be doing plenty of research, since I already have intentions of modding the car.

Hey I'm a new owner of a 2002 Sebring Silver S2000, I just picked it up today and came with some minor mods and it rides great. I used to drive a 91 Civic Hatchback Si that i was working on for the past 5 years. Until someone stolen it two weeks ago and stripped it.

Hey, everyone...

I am currently talking to the S2000 "Guru" at the local Honda dealership in Utah. Hopefully, I should be buying a used 06-07 soon; preferrably in Chicane Silver Metallic. Wife and I drove a brand new one and fell in love! I've wanted one of these cars for years. I MAY be able to buy a new one, we'll just have to see. This S2K will be my retirement present after serving 20 years in the United States Air Force. I'm retiring and we're moving home to sunny Pensacola, Florida with our S2K...you'll Probably see me on here a lot more.

Just wanted to introduce myself...I love this site!

Rob
