I just traded a 2001 Honda CR-V for a 2001 S2K on Sunday. When my wife finds out she is going to kill me. I've wanted an S2K since 2000 and I absolutely love the car. Rough ride doesn't bother me, lack of cargo space, who cares? I sold my Yamaha R6 motorcycle 3 months ago and was really missing it but not any more. My S2K is a yellow 2001 with 49,000 miles. The car is immaculate and was a Honda certified vehicle and I bought an extended warranty. I'm looking forward to being an S2K International member and seeking advice from long-term S2K owners. I'm in Tempe, Arizona so I won't have to deal with bad weather.

Just traded an RX8 for a new 05 silverstone S2000 yesterday. The 8 was a very nice car but the Mazda service scares me. This car feels more solid. I think I made a good choice. Brings me back to the MGB days but with a promise of much better performance - 600 miles from now anyway.

Hi Everyone,
After 30+ years of no sports car, finally got a used black 2001 S2k. Has about 54k miles, but feels remarkably tight. Was initially rough around the edges, but some elbow grease seems to have restored it to fairly new appearance. Seems typically Honda solid. And after the first few drives... WOW!
Was going to be that proverbial Sunday afternoon driver for the wife and I. WRONG! This car has brought back my jaded enthusiasm and I feel like I'm in my 20's again. This thing will give me something to tinker with, and be a blast in the meantime! I'm hooked! Still rusty with the 6-speed after 30 years of automatics, but that's coming back! Hope to find a performance driving course nearby for some refresher work, and get involved with the local S2k group. The "Dragon" is nearby......

Hello everyone,
Bought my NFR 2000 S2000 a few weeks back (exact same day that 4 yrs ago I crashed my car and ended up in wheelchair for months). I've been on this site and finally am getting around to posting. I think this site is great, and I've seen from some of the posts in the Delaware Valley forum that people have already been spotting me driving around the area.
I love this car and am quite happy I bought it. The previous owner lived close by in NJ, and was also a member on this site. Everybody seems really great on this site, and I look forward to joining the community.

Welcome, Justin. Yeah, the Del Val owners are a great group.
It's almost 4 years ago that I took delivery of my S. Can't believe it!
Anyway, take good care... Watch the oil all the time. If you like that CF look for the lip, join up to s2ki and find someone selling a CF hood in the for sale forum...
