Imi, welcome aboard!

We have very few (if any) members from S. Africa! Enjoy, and let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome......GREAT color choice

If you are like me....the more you drive this car, especially on an open, twisty road, the more you will become addicted to it. Then you will find yourself spending a lot of time here learning to clean, shine, maintain, modify, and drive your new love. Most every owner here is great and very helpful. Congrats and have fun.

I recommend this forum: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showforum=113.

If you click on the S2KI Forums, in the above left side, you will see there are three forums in Florida. I would imagine you want the South Florida forum that I gave you the link to.

Thanks Charlie/Wanabe

I dont have any pics just yet, but will post as soon as I do.
There aren't many S's in SA, but when you do see another, you hoot, wave or even stop to have a chat - its like one family - the S2000 family - really cool.

I'm loving this car to the fullest

Congrats, Silverstone was our first one and I loved that color! Before you push the car, be sure to read about the special tire requirements for the 2000-2003. If not, you might find yourself in the bushes!

If you have anything other than stock S-02s tires, you need to get a 245 width for the rears! This is essential for safe handling. When we had our '00 and '01, I used to go through rears every 10-12,000 miles. My wife would get more from hers, usually 12-15,000. The fronts would normally last twice as long.

In your neck of the woods, you might consider something that is better in the rain like the S-03. Remember it's better than the stock S-02, but still considered a summer tire.
