Hey everybody. I am Evan, I just joined this site/forum, so I am new at this. I've been lurking around on this forum for a little bit, but just decided to joint this evening. I live in Orange Beach Al (close to Pansecola Fl). Anyway, I am a proud owner of 2002 AP1 S2000. Love the car. Wanna meet some people around my area who also own S2000's so we could go to meets and on cruises.

 

Reporting in from Birmingham Alabama. Just moved here from Baton Rouge for a real job and now I have a real car.

Ive already put in:
-front and rear hubs and bearings
-OEM differential and axles from a buddy's car with lower miles
-oil, trans fluid, dif fluids
-gravity bled brakes
-fixed exhaust leak
-new front windshield
-removed soft top
-regreased shifter
-swapped seat bottoms left to right
-rockstar garage 2 piece hardtop mounts
-and some gold sti BBS wheels

Its going to be a great year for myself and the car!

Up next: new NGK platinum plugs, valve adjustment, and new seals

 

Hello just joined the group! Going to start doing maintenance on my S2000, going to use AMSOIL engine oil, what other recommendations for this car? I have owned my s2000 for about a year now, it's at approx 100k now

Hey s2ki forum, would like to introduce myself. I just got an AP1 s2k (2001). I switched from a 98 v6 mustang, nothing that fast. It was originally my moms car so I have driven it before and I have always loved it. Not sure if I will mod it or keep it stock, although i'm leaning towards doing some performance upgrades. Any suggestions to a new s2k driver?

 

Hi everyone just pick a 2000 S2000 December 8th 2013. This is my first AP1, and granted it was not really that great to look at when i bought it. crappy flat white paint job, and sloppy shifter and uber loud exhaust.

So far that been done
-repainted gloss white
-Replica ASM bumper
-Winner side skirt
-winner rear bumper add-on
-plastidipped s2000 fender emblems
-White Replica Volk G2 18' wheels with toyo tires
-Forbidden replica Mugen hardtop "on the way in the mail"
-CR clear s2000 side markers
-replaced headlights with aftermarket one for now "until i can afford JDM one"
-OBX twin loop muffler
-Yonaka 24' resonator
-fixed shifter slop





This is my daily so i do not plan on lowering it.

Hello!

My name is John. I bought a 2002 Honda S2000 in late June of 2013. I was originally looking for a low mileage Miata or FRS/BRZ to mess around with when this particular s2000 just sort of fell into my lap. It is Spa yellow with black interior and had 8,500 miles on it when I bought it. It now has roughly 11,500 before I put it away for the winter time. (I have a 2005 Mazda3 SP23 as my winter beater.) It is completely stock aside from the 4 inch scratch on the rear bumper from the previous owner; I'm undecided on fixing it. I have a few minor upgrades in the works for spring time but I really have no idea what I am doing, which is where you all come in. I'm a bit of a wall flower and am here just to learn, and maybe join a club for a little racing between the cones in the spring. Thanks for reading.
