Hello everyone, thrilled and proud new owner of a 2007 Laguna Blue S2K, got it a few months ago with only 29,080 miles! Stock except for FIPK K&N intake. Can't wait to start tweaking this baby. I live in Charlotte, looking forward to meeting some new local owners. I see S2000s on the road but I have never seen one in blue like this car. This car is the most fun car I have ever had hands down. I have wanted this car for years, and now it's finally mine. Yeah!!!

Howdy everybody. I picked up my AP1 with 46k miles on Monday, and am loving it so far. I'm out of Atlanta, GA, and have already started ordering parts...

Sorry for the cell pics. It's all I've got so far.

ive worked for Honda since 95 and remember when the S was launched, a friend and I sat in one on the showroom floor and both said we'd own one someday, after owning 5 crx's (still own a boosted track CRX even after 16 years) a boosted civic, two Honda fits, and a few other beaters, I finally picked up an 05 rio yellow w/90k on it for $14,800. my friend bought his 01 5 years ago and has been telling me to quit buying economy cars for years and get an S. it's strange to me how people treat you differently when you drive one of these as opposed to econo box Hondas (modded or not) I am loving driving it every time I get in it and drive. I've never owned a convertible and in all honesty am still kinda weirded out when the top is down, I definitely prefer top up driving but assume in time i'll grow to love the wind on my scalp (yeah i'm bald) more and more.
mods already done when purchased
1: 17x7.5 ft 17x8.5 rr 5Zigen GN+ wheels with Michelin pilot sports
2: factory headrest speakers (don't know how i'd hear the music without these)
3: factory wing spoiler
4: AM alpine deck
mods done in three weeks since iv'e owned her (I need a cool name for her - any suggestions?)
1: lowered on tein springs
2: Blox axle spacers (friend sent then to me for finally pulling the trigger) (he lives 700 miles away)
3: front lip (factory ofcoarse since I still work at Honda (dealership level)
4: carbon shift knob (round weighted) sooooo sick!
5: neo chrome lug locks/nuts
6: custom windshield glare strip (it's pretty bad ass, and a must since this things visors are worthless)
7: factory cargo net
8: custom cup holder (WTF Honda? not even one "REAL" cup holder??)
mods to come in time
1: DC header (friends giving for free since he's going boost)
2: ACT clutch (friends giving for free since he's going boost)
3: full CAT back exhaust (friends giving for free since he's going boost and wants 3")
4: AEM CAI (friends giving for free since he's going boost)
5: new soft top (mine has two small tears that were half ass repaired before I got her)
6: AM hard top (different friend works at forbidden USA)
7: coilovers (i'll have to buy these once the race prepped CRX sells)
8: footwell speaker box
9: ???? any suggestions

anyway I was pretty active on fitfreak.net for 7 years when I owned fits and had over 1500 posts maybe this can be my new crutch - reading all this good stuff!

Hi all, so I've brought an s2000 ap1(62k)3 weeks ago and found this forum extremely helpful when purchusing it. I brought it off a family member and it had been sitting in the garage for three years gathering dust. I've had the:
Battery replaced
Diff oil changed
Gear box oil changed
Major service
Timing tensioner changed
The tires were fine and it now just needs some cosmetic work done

It's running fine, though I want to replace the spark plugs, and clean the map sensor and IAC. I'm absolutely loving this car from the sound of the vtec to the handling.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to say hi to the community I have been browsing for the last ten years. I got out of college and I had the choice of keeping my Honda Civic and getting an S2K or buying a Subaru WRX. I bought the WRX and I love it, but a few years down the road I finally bought my S2000. Its nice to be back! There is just something about a Honda... My Integra gsr I had, not the Civic.

Bad lungs and high altitude finally ran me and my Wrangler crawler out of Colorado and here to the land of 100% paved roads and 0% off road access. The jeep no longer made any sense but the miles and miles of twisty mountain roads made me think that an S2000 might make a lot of sense. Looked for about 9 months, missed a few, and last week landed a garage-kept '07 with 28,150 miles on it. It looks like it sounds and seems to run like its supposed to. Only thing I miss is a print catalog for the Honda that is as extensive a resource as 4WD and Quadratech are for jeeps.
