Hi Everyone, new S2k owner here also. Got mine in August in the northern CA near San Jose area and drove it 400 miles down to San Diego county on first day. It has 83k miles and starting with fluid change and plan to do brakes next. Any other recommendation on an mostly original S2k? The cruise control didn't work on the fwy. so that's also on the to do list.
Heyo! I'm located in the Bay area and had just bought an S yesterday from a friend. I'm very excited to drive and build up the S2000 as my first manual car and hope that I could meet others in the local community. You'll probably find me in the discord lol
Crazy how I got into cars. Saw an anime wrapped r35 gtr at anime expo in 2023 and something just clicked. First manual car is a '95 civic ex (single jingle vtec baby) and bought my s2g (2 grand, get it?) in march this year. Plan on keeping it stock, just installed coilovers to make it a little stiffer. It's such a nice ride.
Hi all! Got my first S2K in May. Has been a dream car of mine and I consider myself lucky to have one. I'm in the bay area, so maybe you'll see me around! I'm also looking to replace the TCT soon, so I'm here to contact billman250.
Hey all, recently purchased a 2005 S2k, have put about 1700 miles on in 8 months, been a blast. Working to restore it to factory condition along the way!
Finally bought my first S2000 after waiting a couple decades for one. Remember being 15 and the first time I saw one winding out in NFR. I am now 40 with kids but they also enjoy it too.
Live in Maryland so she will be placed in a garage pretty soon. Need to have a little work done first. Met some other drivers in the DMV area at some local meets and around Baltimore.
2001, AP1, Silverstone/Black, 139K miles.
Plans for now:
- New TCT
- Full tune up
- Red Seat conversion
- Keep her mostly stock
- Full respray in a couple years.
Hi all! My name is Sunny and I just imported my 2nd rhd car into the states, a 99' s2k! I would've loved a yellow one but this silver one was just too good of a deal. A bucket list car for me, and my first foray into Hondas. It's got an absolute heap of parts including :Front roll bars
J'S Racing carbon hood (going to get it re clear coated) TEIN sports track suspensionMugen mufflerMugen carbon air intake (v1 I think) Spoon strut tower barTODA Racing Exhaust manifoldGReddy aluminum radiator.Cusco roll bar (non-intrusive)Ce28n's bronze (date stamped 2002!) I used to have a 1990 NA miata with a full flyin miata suspension kit which drove like a go cart on wheels and this car feels even better. I'm addicted to hitting vtec but it's crazy how you can still have a ton of fun shifting at 4k only. My other cars include a 1995 Nissan R33 GTR (I did a single turbo build myself 4 years ago), 2003 Mercedes cl55 AMG, and I'm a big Saab guy since I got my license so I've had a few.
Due to delays, I was only able to drive her for a few weeks and now it's gotten too cold in CT so I'm anxiously waiting for spring. Planned mods are Bilman tensioner once I get PM access, fluids, removing or replacing the rubber windshield surround, and applying for a custom plate.
Drove CT to NJ solo, loaded her up, and registered her at the dmv all in 1 day
