Introduce yourself here! Part II
Hey there guys. Wilson here, a new comer of S2000's. Hope to get to know you all very well. (: I'm very interested in S2000's as my brother is handing his down to me, stock of course. I hope I can receive help and guidance from current s2ki members. Nice to meet you all!
Hi folks: After 2 years of wistfully looking at s2ks, I finally took the plunge and bought a 2001 silver with black interior. Has 28000 miles and I now look for any opportunity to take a ride when the weather is nice and the top can come down. In the one week I've owned it, no less than 5 people have stopped me to compliment the car. this is the most fun driving since I had a 1970 2002 in college.
I have a question: there is a small glass partition on the rear deck between the seats. It is appears to be a wind screen, and it is folded down. I have no idea how to get it to pop up. Can anyone tell me how to stand it up?
Thanks.

Hello All, I'm the satisfied owner of a 2001 silver/black interior S2K w/ a little less than 12000 miles. I bought the car new in April 2001 and continue to enjoy its balanced roadster performance.
I found your amazing S2Ki site when looking for information about tire replacements and comments from experience about maintenance issues including preferred engine oil. I had the clutch disk upgrade done a few years back as a result of bothersome transmission buzz occurring during engine backdown in lower gears- the local dealership where I bought the car did the work under warranty in response to the tech bulletin description of the problem and my experience with the car. I've been using Mobile One oil, performing regular battery and tire pressure checks and lubricating window seals every year but not much else. My little hot rod has to live in a cool garage for weeks at a time while I'm working but is extremely happy to let it all out on country roads. I enjoy gliding around in the 4000-5000 rpm range.
I look forward to reading the posts of many of you!
