Introduce yourself here! Part II
Hey, I'm new to the forum and I just purchased my first s2000 2 weeks ago and I LOVE it! 2001 silverstone metallic stock except for an AEM intake. Fairly new to driving stick as well, but I'm excited to learn more about my car.
I'm Korey, from Nashville Tn and picked up My 04 S about 2 weeks ago. Just rolled over to 100k. Completely love driving this car!
My DD Mini and the S. Just tinted the windows at 35% also have a OEM front lip and Spoiler on the way.

Hello all,
I've been lurking here for a while. Finally joined after getting my S this past friday. I have gone through quite a few cars in the past 2 years. Been waiting for my chance to get an S and now that I have it I see nothing else replacing it. Built a k24 ek, parted it, got a CRX and boosted it trying to sell it now, and now I've got my 91 sedan daily beater and the S.
She's an 01 Spa Yellow, with about 76k on the clock. She is perfect in my eyes but has the cosmetic flaws youd expect in an 11 year old car.
Anyway nice to finally join, hope to meet some cool people. I'm in the Baltimore area.
Eric

Hello All
I'm Luis from San Juan, PR (Currently living in San Antonio, TX). I just sold my 04 STI and bought a midlife crisis 2003 S2000 with 99k. The car is pretty much virgin with the exemption of Alpine head unit, Eclipse amp, JL 10" sub, KN filter and 18" SSR wheels.
I was in the Honda scene from 96-99 with a Candy Apple Red 91 CRX Si. Loved the car, but it was only for cruising, not racing. After that I drove a 3000GT, 02 WRX and ended up driving an 04 STI. So basically I drove a Subaru since 02 until just recently.
I'm impressed with the handling of the S2000. I thought it would take me longer to handle the RWD, but it's coming naturally to me. I can't wait to modify a few things and see what else I can get out of it.
I hope to get good guidance and to meet other S2000 owners in the San Antonio area!

Greetings, fellow S2K Travellers...! From the other side of the "pond"...
With regret I am unable to take my 2005 S2k with me to the 'States at the end of the year when moving to Austin, Texas – "she" will be shipped back to my other home in Monte Carlo and will continue her life on European roads whenever I get back there. TOO nice a car to EVER sell..! But I KNOW she will have a new and different life and come to shine in front of the Casino in Monaco – where the Palace flunkeys only allow the parking of the most exotic cars
)
I see from posts on USA forums for S2Ks – here and elsewhere – that there is a wonderful passion and camaraderie for this exemplary and unique vehicle – and it warms my heart. ...Because it means that I will be able to find one, as I sincerely desire, on my arrival... Hopefully...!
Though my version was given to me in Dubai, UAE, in exchange for a Sponsorship fee on a book that I wrote and is a 2 litre /9000 rpm, originally Euro-UK model, I am looking forwards to experiencing the difference in the slower-revving 2.2 litre motor – and comparing.
The question on joining which asks "How long did it take to make your mind up to buy an S2k...?" really made me laugh...! It took me ONE LOOK to confirm my choice – having seen my first s2K in South Island, New Zealand in Dec 1999 and wondering what the heck was that B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L piece of road-sex...! It stood out like "dog's balls" from every other car around. (Which wasn't THAT hard)...
Then I had to wait... Five months. Why...? Because I wanted the Blue with Blue leather interior... And now it is still the only one in the whole of the Middle East as it was never imported with that specific combination – except as a "special"... But it was worth it...!! I remember SO clearly my first day, when I took delivery of it and headed off into downtown Dubai with the roof down and the sun hot in a crisp, blue winter sky... Some memories stay with one for ever...
Anyway – kind wishes and regards to all you good people with whom I hope to share a common road – and a continuing, passionate love for an excellent piece of machinery...!
Cheers.

Hello forum,
I'm a 55 yr old guy looking for my guilty pleasure. I have read quite a bit about the S2000 so I know what a great car it is. I'm looking for a 2002 or later model with less than 100,000 miles and want to spend less that 15,000. Stock would be great or a few tasteful mods. I live in North Alabama and here are the cars I've found within 200 miles that meet the bill:

Any advice or things I should look for would be appreciated. From what I've read I know clutches and tops can be an issue.
Thanks,
Mike
