Introduction
Hello:
I have just purchased a Sebring Silver 2006 S2k. It replaces a 2004 Z06 Corvette which was my trade in. The S2k is my "weekender". I've only 100 miles on it so far and I'm scrupulous about the breakin. I absolutely love this car!!! While it doesn't have the gut wrenching acceleration of the Z06, it has a very deceptive quickness that I'm just getting the feel of. I find the fit and finish to be of a very high standard and the handling superb. It's an altogether fun car to drive and I can't wait for the end of the break in period.
Following the 600 miles are there other suggestions for breaking in a new SK2 or should I feel confident that I can accelerate close to redline?
Thanks,
Flash42

Flash, welcome aboard!
Yes, once you've broken it in, feel free to really enjoy it. I recommend taking it easy for a while, simply to get accustomed to driving the car.
Best wishes.
