Default Introduction

Hey everyone. I am the new guy on the block. I have an 07 S2K and absolutly LOVE it! Drive everywhere with the top down, unless it's raining. People ask how I stay so tan...I tell them they should get a rag top too.

Looking forward to getting some tuning advice in the furture.

Welcome aboard!!!

BTW - The fastest you drive the less wet you get, no reason to put the top up in the rain .

Hey, another new kid on the block. Just bought 2002 S2000 with 22, 000 miles for
$16, 900. Did I steal it? It is addictive, can't stay out of it. I need a cover to put on the top when you are driving with it down, anyone know where I can get one and what it is called?

Unfortunately, this will be a spring/summer car, we don't get much snow but some. We are a Honda family, also have a 96 Civic and 2005 Accord Coupe. Pictures on the way, new at navigating this site, she's a beauty, I think a sweet deal due to such low miles and boy can she take a curve.

It's a Tonneau cover. You can get the soft OME from the Honda dealer or online. If you want a hard one to cover the top when it's down, your choices are fiber glass or caron fiber. Fiber glass is cheaper but will need to be sanded and painted. Carbon Fiber is more expensive but less weight and doesn't need the paint. Do you just want the "look" or are you wanting to loose some weight? Once you go CF, you should commit all the way - hood/trunk, etc.

If you're not sure which one you want, suggest getting the OME. It folds up and fits in the trunk. We've had some seat theives in the central FL area. So put your top up when she's parked, and keep it in the garage if possible.

The cover that I am inquiring about I think was suppose to come with the car, but did not. I think I found it through the dealer , going to call bout it today. thatnks for the warning, she is always in the garage and top up when unoccupied out somewhere.
