I think I introduced myself briefly when signing up for the site a while back but thought I'd make it official with the purchase of my first S2000. I'm a very young 44 and live in a suburb of the Dayton, OH area. Had sports cars most of my life but finally pulled the trigger tonight on a superb 2002 Suzuka Blue with only 17K miles on the clock. Searched long and hard for the right one and this was the best bang for the buck. Its not my first color choice but I do like it quite a bit. Giving up the sport bikes this spring, along with the track time and idiotic street riding. There's always room for fun but its time for the change. Pick her up Saturday. Stoked!
Looking forward to getting to know the folks on the forum and thanks for the great resource here. It helped in my year long research and has prepared me for what to expect with the car and the personalization to come.
Thanks gents. Picked it up today. Full detail starts tomorrow to satisfy my OCD issues. Already looking to order either AP2 V1 or V3 wheels, CR carbon fiber radio door, upgraded stereo / speakers and over-the-hump floor mats. Hoping to pull that off within a month or so. We'll see what's next. This car has the optional 6 disc changer in the trunk. Wondering if its worth keeping and if it can be linked to a modern head unit. Definitely going Bluetooth.

Yeah there's an Ohio sectio here in the forums. It's kinda died a little due to Facebook, but the big events are still posted.
