Joining the S2K club!
Hello everyone!
I've been hanging around the forums for the past month and finally found some time to introduce myself. I guess I'll start off by talking about my previous cars...since we are all here to talk about cars anwyay.. In the past 4 years I have gone through three cars(I'm car crazy) starting with a 2004 Mazda3.

..loved the car, handled awesome but when the Mazdaspeed3 came out I could not hold back..so in 2008 I purchased a 2008.5 Mazdaspeed3 in Metropolitan gray

This car hauled ass..had a cobb downpipe, cobb AP programmer, Mazdaspeed CAI, Cobb Springs, Hotchkis rear sway bar, Mazdaspeed catback, forge bpv.
After a year I had some money saved up and fell in love with the new 2009 Nissan 370Z in pearl white.

Upgraded the exhaust, intake, and springs..Awesome looking car
..lots of grip but handling feel was not my cup of tea..very heavy feeling with not enough feedback(prefer the miata or s2000 like reflexes). Fast but didn't feel fast like the Mazdaspeed3 did. After a year and a half with the Z in february I decided that spending $70 on a tank of gas 4 or 5 times a month, 20MPG AVG and rising gas prices, paired with high insurance, warped rotors at only 15K, and poor customer service at Nissan's service departments around the area that it was time to part ways
..I decided to go back to something a little more commuter friendly but still fun, a 2011 Mazda3.

This time I decided to lease since I change cars often. Funny how it worked out and I'm back to a 3..but the car is awesome and it offers handling, features, and performance that no other car in it's class can offer(stock at least). This thing has everything..bluetooth phone and audio, nav, sat radio, pivoting bi-xenon headlights, rain sensing wipers, heated seats, moonroof, bose audio, push-button start, 6-Speed Manual, and it averages 28 MPG in bumper to bumper traffic with me driving it spiritedly on any open roads.
Around the start of spring I started throwing around ideas for a toy..everything from 300zx, e36 m3's, bikes, and finally the s2000.
After a few weeks of searching I found the right s2000 for me. It's a 2000 New Formula Red S2K. Bought it with 99K and have it up to 102K already! Have already had quite a few things done. All fluids changed, alignment and balancing, a few dents taken out, free new taillights(due to recall), AP2 radio door, clear side markers, new shift knob, Kenwood headunit, and new alpine speakers.
I think I have the best of both worlds. On one hand I have a car that has TONS of gadgets but easy to live with and another with TONS of fun factor that I can mod and rage on.

thanks guys! I'm looking forward to start modding the s2000
I'm planning on starting off with either wheels, exhaust, or some suspension work. Is their anything in particular that you guys recommend doing off the bat?
