Default Just Bought a 2003 SK2, whoop

Always liked these cars, and thought they were more manly than a miata. My friend's mom decided to get rid of her husband's yellow s2k and I picked it up today for a steal. Though it's been sitting outside for 5 years with 3 flat tires, sap, and a weathered top it only has 24,000 miles! Hopefully once I get a new battery for it, tires, and top it'll be picture worthy

Til then I'll be lurking the forums for parts, and maybe a new set of wheels

Oh wow, that just breaks my heart. I hope you can give it some TLC and restore it to its original glory.

Congratulations on your purchase.
You will not regret it.
Those former owners must be either very busy or very rich or on crack to neglect a car of this caliber like that!
Enjoy the car
