Just bought my 2007 S2000!
Hello S2KI Members,
I'm excited to say that I've just purchased a new 2007 Honda S2000!!!
I took delivery last week and have taken some photos and can't post them as I don't know how...
The car is fantastic and I've always wanted one and finally got it. It's Silverstone with Black and Red interior. Interestingly enough the car doesn't have cruise control which could be a UAE import thing? I had to laugh though as I picked the car up, drove it all evening, and needed to fill up; couldn't find the gas cap latch. Yeah dummy.
Anyway glad to finally have the car and now I'll look to mod it a bit. First mod will be the OEM Hardtop for the extreme summer temps we get.
Thanks for reading.

Thanks!
Yeah sold my 06 GTI 2-door because everytime I saw an S2000 it made me regret my decision to purchase the VW.
Now it's mine....ALL MINE!
I've been reading threads on lowering the car and different mod's so we'll see how long the car stays stock.
But in stock form the car is brilliant!

Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay for the S?
Enjoy the car

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for the replies!
Love this car and in 13 days of ownership I've logged 1200 kms' (first service done already) and had the top down all but 1 day.
I'd like to purchase the hardtop as we get some sickening hot days in the summer (+40C daily) and I'm unsure the cloth top will hold in the cold air.
I've paid 120,000 AED which equates to $39,000 Canadian (I'm Canadian). To give you an idea of the differential in pricing betwen Canada and the UAE I would have paid just over $52,000 back in Canada!
I'll try and catch up with some owners in Dubai as you see some of these cars ripping around but this is a city dominated by Boxsters.
Unfortunately I'm required to drive my car onto some crap roads as I work on the Palm Island construction site so the car will be muddy on some days. But I'm able to pay at the car wash the equivalent of $10 to wash the car on a lift so that the undercarrage is cleaned to perfection and the interior detailed. It rocks living here.
