Default Just bought my S2000

Hey,
I have a couple questions about my AP1 sorry if the questions were already answered previously. I currently own a Spa Yellow 2002 s2000 with 48k miles.

1) Does Ap1s have any problems that i should worry about?
2) Whats the perfect wheel fitment for an AP1?
- was thinking Varrstoen ES2 or ES1 18x9.5 +30 in the front and 18x10.5 +30 in the rear.
3) If i were to get this fitment for the wheels what would i need to modify in order to make theses work?
4) Any good sites that have a good inventory for s2000?

1. Clutch Buzz/ Weak valve retainers compared to AP2, some eat oil, keep an eye on it.
2. Dont think +30 will fit fenders and 18x10.5 are huge. Most people get away with a 9 wide which is plenty. There is a wheel fitment guide and a wheel thread for ideas. Pm members to ask about their setups you like.
3. Fenders/Camber depending on height.
4. Evasivemotorsports.com Ton of quality wheels/parts.

Welcome !

I hear the size wheels that you are considering and think heavy. Heavy wheels will have adverse affects on this car (nimble handling, slower acceleration, worse braking). If looks are all you care about go for it. Wide wheels will require you to roll the fenders.

what would you consider for a wheel fitment that will look nice but wont hinder the performance of the car?
