Anyways, congrats on your purchase, I hope your lovin yours as much as I'm lovin mine. What a wonderful car to drive.
I've been lookin for any excuse to drive somewhere. What yr/model/color did you get?
As far as parts go, I'd try to look at the engine as a package deal and make sure the parts you are buying work together to give you a fully functional tuned package. You can't look at it like lego blocks. i.e. i've got brand X exahust and brand y header and a chipped ecu. This is poor planning and will give you moderate results. You are best off deciding what your goal is and then figuring out how to acheive it. i.e. I want a 280whp N/A vehicle, now work towards it. Hope this helps, probably not what you are looking for, but anything worthwhile is never instant.

Welcome to the site!!! Congrats on your new ride.Sorry for the low replies, not a lot of people post in the introduction area.
Anyways, as far as modifications go... you are not going to see a lot of power from basic bolt ons. Such as Intake, header, and exhaust. You will probably be looking at a total of 10-15 HP at most from the three. They just make the car louder, which isn't all bad (especially in VTEC). There are a lot of ways to build a high power N/A S2000, but most are somewhat expensive. Like Matt was saying, just figure out what you want the car to be, and go from there.
Good Luck!!
you need to go F/I if you want any type of real power...
all i have on my car is a S/C and some coilover for the moment. I'm working on the stereo right now and i'm gonna get some wheels after.
mattb1, if you want some answers post in the s2000 talk section.
no one really posts here in the newbie section.
Peace
David

Welcome. It's takes some time for people to get to introductions I think.
Anyway enjoy the new ride - I'm not sure the car requires many mods unless you're going to track the car.
For the street it's set-up just fine - I'm sure you thought the same - after all you bought the car.
