hello all, I just got an AP1 on trade for a broken Cadillac CTSV, so far the car is really fun. Stock except a K&N drop in filter when I got it. I have added a set of AP2V1 wheels and a hard top and recently purchased an Invidia test pipe and N1 dual exit exhaust for it but have yet to install. Has 154k on it and a bad rattle/whine in the trans and some strange drivetrain noises.
Welcome. I just got one as well about 3 weeks ago. Fun cars! One of the great things about these cars is that (in your case) even if the tranny is completely shot, you can buy one for about a thousand bucks and install it a day.
What kind of noise and is it making noise at idle, under load, under deceleration, shifting?
I've read that sometimes the prop shaft can make noise, as well as the heat shield. Both of these noise sources often get mistaken for tranny noise.

It makes a rattling noise at idle, in gear during accel and deccel
The car looks good. The AP2V1 fit really well. You should consider installing the AP1 OEM Front Lip. Will give it a more agressive front and will look even better.
