Just saying Hello
Hello everyone at S2ki!
A lil info about me:
I've been a lurker here for a while now and finally decided to say hello. I've been a huge fan of the S2000 since i first saw one back in 99'-00ish. a lil info on my car history: I've had two hondas in the past (01' acura integra and 02' acura RSX) and loved them both to death.
Upon the sale of my RSX there were only two cars that I had in my mind to get: A Honda S2000 or a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
After a lot of research, comparisons, test drives and thinking (lots and lots of thinking) I decided on the :gasp: evo
I'll admit it tho, when I first sat in the S2k, all I remember was, "omg, this is awesome!" then I drove it, and all I could think of was, "omg this really is awesome!"
In the end it all came down to practicality and space, which i felt the mitsu had more of. Of course, My heart will always belong to Honda and one day I hope to finally purchase my S2K, but until that day I guess I'm stuck just 'hanging' out here.
I also really love the atmosphere over here at S2ki. The crowd seems to be much more mature and respectful of each other compared to the guys over at the evo board (which seems to be a lot of younger, and well quite frankly, stupid a$$es for the most part). I enjoy just reading other's responses because I truly feel a sense of community here at S2ki
well, I guess that's all I really wanted to say. To be quite honest with you all, I've thought long and hard about the possibility of selling or trading in my Evo (2005 with 7k miles) and just take the jump to an S2k!! only time will tell i guess
Either way, just saying hello, and here's a pic of my evo from about 5 months back when it was stock (btw, JDMrence is my honda-tech name)
