Default Just saying hi

Hi, my name is Dan Honovich and I own two body shops in lower New York (www.ultimate-cc.com). I am an active member on several other boards from nasioc to evolutionm to srt-4mation. I have come on here to learn more about the s2k and to help answer any questions people may have related to autobody. My close friend is on here and referred me to this board. I don't own a s2k but think very highly of them. I have a EVO8 currently (as I have really grown fond of the awd) and before the EVO8 I had a WRX and Golf.

I have added blacked out emblems and headlights since this picture was taken.

Broken at 3100 miles, notice the non-ricer jdm ver7 tails though.

Hey Dan,

Love the black wheels, makes it look very sweet!!

Hey got a question...my friend has a Celica and it has a 2 inch wrinkle as well as a very light overall dent (maybe a 1/4 inch recess)which is probably like 6 inches in diameter. Can that stuff be fixed or will he need a new door? If it can be fixed, any idea of what sort of pricing that would be. I was looking on the web and found a load of that paintless dent repair, would that work?

Thanks in advance.

PS - if you need any leather care/repair advice let me know...

Sean

Well I am not sure if you saw my thread but I am holding a dent day on the 7th of January. If you send me some pics or post some I could give you a rough idea if the paintless dent removal will work for you or not. As far as leather goes do you have any suggestions for me and maintaining my leather in the evo. I clean my interior twice a week with just a regular interior cleaner and condition the leather proably once every two to three weeks. I am not sure if thats what you should be doing or not but the evo front seat is already starting to show creases and lines with only 9600 miles on the car.

Thanks
Dan

Its funny, you would think cleaning is so simple and it is once you know the tricks...one suggestion is to not clean so often, I would back off to maybe once a month or somthing and then condition the seats quarterly.

I will see if I can get a pic...any idea what a door panel goes for if he needs to replace it?
